Marc Baltzan, MDCM

Trained in residency at McGill University, Dr. Baltzan is certified with the American Board of Sleep Medicine and is a fellow of The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). He is the Medical Director of the OSR Medical Sleep Disorders Center in Montreal, which is also accredited by the AASM and a member of the Sleep Partners network. He works at Mount Sinai Hospital and teaches at McGill University as well as frequently giving conferences in continuing medical education. He is in active clinical practice and research with publications in the New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, Sleep, Sleep Medicine, Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, and CMAJ. He takes the perspective that most adult sleep disorders are chronic conditions that require a long-term approach.
